Playsponsible™

Playsponsible is our commitment to being responsible custodians of the world that today’s children will one day inherit. We strive to create more sustainable options within our products’ lifecycles, specifically as it relates to product design and packaging, to reduce our impact on the planet. We have set goals to help in this effort:

Reduce plastic in our packaging by 50% by 2025
Use soy and vegetable-based inks in 50% of our packaging by 2025

Product Safety and Quality

Children's product safety is fundamental to Spin Master's operations. We embed safety and quality into every product and play experience, ensuring we comply with all applicable regulatory standards. This commitment is evident in every aspect of our business from design, development, manufacturing and distribution. Spin Master’s safety process is segmented into four fundamental steps:

Responsible Sourcing

Spin Master is a global business with 114 facilities, distribution in over 100 customer markets and manufacturing in 10 countries. As of the fourth quarter of 2023, 100% of our production is outsourced. In addition to adhering to Spin Master’s Supplier Code of Conduct, all of manufacturing facilities must have an Ethical Supply Chain Program certification and vendors must be audited by the Ethical Supply Chain Program or an equivalent program.

Responsible Marketing & Content for Children

We create connections with children and families who put their trust in our products, content and communication. We value their trust and make great efforts to ensure we are marketing to and communicating with them in a responsible manner. We adhere to global and regional regulations such as the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the self-regulatory guidelines established by the Children’s Advertising Review Unit (CARU), and act in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission Advertising Standards. Spin Master also has supplemented compliance with our own corporate policies.
