Lauren DeFeo Duchene

Lauren DeFeo Duchene was appointed as Executive Vice President, Spin Master & President, Melissa & Doug in November 2024. In her role, she oversees the Melissa & Doug brand including business and commercial planning and execution, as well as development of the brand, category, product and creative, team and talent.

A passionate leader in the early childhood play space, Lauren has successfully spearheaded global lifestyle and toy brands that have earned their place in the homes of families around the world. Prior to joining Spin Master, Lauren was General Manager for Skip Hop, where she oversaw the company’s P&L, led cross-functional teams to build brand awareness, increase the sustainable footprint, and drive the premium brand through wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels. Lauren’s extensive career in the toy industry also includes leadership roles at Spin Master, where she oversaw the GUND global plush business, and more than 10 years at Mattel/Fisher Price and where she led Thomas & Friends and other prominent toy brands.
